Are you looking for a great career position with a key role in ensuring bottom line performance in an international manufacturing company?

With reference to the Group CFO, you will be responsible for month-end closing and financial controlling on group level at Vestfrost Solutions in Esbjerg. Furthermore, you will take on a key role within sustainability reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will seek to challenge, optimize and improve processes within internal reporting, budgeting, and cost optimization among others, and you will take part of designing and implementing the future finance function in Vestfrost Solutions.

As this is a career position, you may not necessarily be ‘checking all the boxes’ within this function. But if you are willing to learn and can see yourself grow into this role, this might be your next big, exciting step.

You will join the 7 people in the Finance & HR team all located in Esbjerg. This role will have many touchpoints into the organization in Denmark and Hungary. The expected travel days will be below 15 days per year.

Strong analytical skills and eagerness to make a difference 

The right person for this role may have experience from a similar finance controller role in an international production company or comes from the audit or consultancy business.

You communicate fluently in English and have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and a key interest in digitalization.

As a person, you enjoy taking initiatives and working independently with focus on ensuring quality.  With your high sense of urgency, you know how to prioritize your tasks and get the job done. You are not only interested in numbers – you are motivated and eager to understand the ‘Whys’ before the ‘What’s.
